BSS helped to inject new capital into California’s Capital City

The City of Sacramento sought to generate new revenue for city social programs.  Kevin Bartram (as part of TWG) was retained by the City of Sacramento to develop a corporate sponsorship program.

The program involved the leveraging of assets throughout the city, including parks and recreation, the convention center, auditorium, golf courses and much more. The result was a program called Capital Spirit that was designed to generate revenues for city social programs. The process involved a substantial amount of public interface and public negotiation with the city council. Kevin ran point, working with the Mayor, City Manager, Economic Development and various department leaders to create a cutting-edge program.

The program resulted in a substantial relationship with Pepsi Cola that has generated $3 million for parks and recreation programs over ten years.
